When a face like this greets you at the entrance, you know you're not in an ordinary nursery.

And Island View Nursery + Home Store in Carpenteria isn't.  The interior feels a lot like Bali.

And the grounds feel a little like Jurassic Park, thanks to T.Rex here.

So do yourself a favor when you're in the area and drop in.  This place just makes you feel good.  The interior part is housed in a series of old greenhouses.  And they provide such a soft, even, flattering light everything under them looks gorgeous.  If we could all walk around in this kind of light all the time, no one would even think of having a face lift.  Well, it was a nice thought anyway.
