Our warm weather won't be with us that much longer.  So take advantage of it.  And not all just for garden chores, please.  Take some time to read, daydream, or snooze, whatever feels most indulgent.  Not all of us have situations quite as ideal as the two shown here  (both from projects of Santa Barbara landscape architect Charles McClure), but we all have some place inviting to sit in the garden.  And, if not, then we should.

So, go on, indulge yourselves before the weekend and this great weather disappear.  That's an order.

What lovely slices of heaven with completely different flavors. And I wish I could laze in either (or both).

Mr. McClure sure knows how to make a garden and a yard inviting. I want to go take a nap in that hammock. He has used special in ground lighting to accent gardens and it really ehances the look of landscaping.

I believe the hammock is one of the best inventions ever. Here's a link of my English Bulldog Gracie in the hammock. She's one smart pooch, and knows where the comfort zone is: http://tallcloverfarm.com/?p=61
