Briscoe_3 From now through the end of October, Quail Botanical Gardens in Encinitas, California will be doubling as a sculpture garden.

The San Diego Fine Arts Society is partnering with Quail Botanical Gardens to give local artists a chance to display their sculpture to a large audience.

Sixteen different pieces from fourteen local artists will be placed in the garden where they best compliment the plant collections.

`Ascent', the bronze piece by Fred Briscoe shown here, for instance, can be found in the California Native Plants Garden.

You can purchase the sculpture, and a significant portion of the price of each piece is tax-deductible.  The proceeds go to Quail Botanical Garden.

To get a preview of some of the other work that will be on dispaly, go to San Diego Fine Arts Society's website.
