Now that I see my photo of 'Pretty Much Picasso', a new petunia variety from Proven Winners, on the blog--see yesterday's post below--I see that the color is off and doesn't do the plant justice.  So let's try again with one of Jim's photos and see if that changes anyone's mind.

Wow. That's a pretty interesting petunia.

Petunias are just sort of blowsy, imho, regardless of the color. Never seen a nice color in them, either.

Hmmm. I'm intrigued by the idea of a petunia with petal tips in a contrasting color, but I think Picasso loses some of the "pop" it would have had if the contrasting color wasn't the same color as the leaves.

I just went to Consumer Day at Four Star Greenhouse and this petunia was on display in several hanging baskets and pots. It was absolutely gorgeous! No picture can do justice to this petunia. I'm not all that crazy bout petunias, but this one I just have to have.

I just saw this at the San Diego County Fair the other day, in a hanging basket, mixed with a bright green ipoema (sp?)....It was an OUTSTANDING
hanging basket and color combo---CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SPRING when it is released!!!

The bright green ipomoea that you saw with Pretty Much Picasso was probably Illusion Emerald Lace. Proven Winners is introducing 2 new Ipomoeas and have been using both with Prtty Much Picasso in shows and displays.

I can't wait for this to hit the stores. It's going to be sensational!
