Hart's work is beautiful.
Posted by:sharon | July 03, 2009 at 08:00 AMBeautiful, yes, and a wonderful way of adding a sense of history to a home.
Posted by:Paul | July 03, 2009 at 03:54 PMI fell in love with Hart's work the first time I saw it a few years ago. Our almost 15 year old fence will need a face lift soon and I'd love to see part of the old wood reused this way in my garden.
I recognize the garden in that top photo. It belongs to Paul Taylor (http://web.mac.com/paultaylorocnp/iWeb/Site/Home.html). His fence, gate and shed, created by Jane Hart, were big hits when Paul's garden was in the '08 Seeding Our Future Garden Tour (http://www.foundation4smartkids.org/art/index.html).
