It's been a few months, but I'm trying to get back on track with GBBD.

It's slim pickings in the test garden this month:

Daikon

Yarrow

Gaillardia

A few roses! This is a David Austin -- not sure the variety

Do you know the proper name of the weed that you show? We have been calling it a "popper" plant, since it "pops" all it's seeds out in your face when you go to pull it out!

I have no idea, actually. Sharon? Jim?

That weed is all over our garden in Marin County, too! I found myself wondering about it when I was weeding this week (thanks to the rain, an almost pleasant task!). I think it's actually kinda pretty, so I left a few.

I leave pretty weeds in sometimes, too! I try to yank them before they go to seed. Don't always make it in time.

I forgot to add: I want to say it's watercress, but I'm half making that up. Am I close?

This cute little weed is called Little Bittercress and if you let it go to seed, you'll never get rid of it. Insidious thing.
